•  May 29, 2010 - Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) History and High Desert Photography Siminar  - Check In: 10:30-11:00 a.m. - Presentation begins at 11:00 a.m. - Participants will meet at the Civilian Conservation Corp Camp located at the base of Hart Mountain.  Lee Juillerat, of the Herald and News in Klamath Falls, will begin with a talk on the Civilian Conservation Corp and their work on Hart Mountain followed by Larry Turner, chief photographer for Range magazine, will be giving tips on how to capture the high desert country on camera.

• June 19, 2010 -  Indian Wars/Historic Ranches and Rawhide Braiding Siminar  - Check In: 10:30-11:00 a.m. - Presentation begins at 11:00 a.m. - Participants will meet at the Hart Mountain NAR Headquarters, located at the top of Hart Mountain Refuge.  John Griffin, local historian, will begin his talk about the Indians Wars and Historic Ranches beginning at the Refuge Headquarters and continuing out at Blue Sky.  Bill & Teresa Black, master rawhide braiders, will also be present to give a rawhide braiding demonstration.

  Participants will meet at the refuge Headquarters to hear, guest speaker, Steven G. Herman, Ph.D., Emeritus Member of the Faculty, Evergreen State College, an expert birder and a professor who has been bringing students to Hart Mtn. to mist-net songbirds every year since 1983.
